這是DR. milo hellman於1932年提出的分類法,他是以dental age的生長來做區分

 hellman's dental age

其分類的方式為以下

I A    before eruption of deciduous tooth

I C    before attained of deciduous occlusion

II A  completion of deciduous tooth occlusion

IIC   beginning of eruption of 1st molars and incisors

III A completion of eruption of 1st molars and incisors

III B  exchanging of lateral dentitions

III C  beginning of eruption of second molars

IV A  completion of eruption of the second molars

IV C  beginning of eruption of third molars

V A completion of eruption of third molars
